LifeScore Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 11, 2026

LifeScore is built by Mike Carroll. This policy describes how the LifeScore iOS app handles your data.

The short version

LifeScore does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Data Storage

All data you create in LifeScore — habits, scores, streaks, urge logs, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data is not uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party system.

No Account Required

LifeScore does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

No Analytics or Tracking

LifeScore does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or behavioral data through our own systems.

No Third-Party SDKs

LifeScore does not include any third-party code that collects data. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, Swift Charts).

Apple's Data Practices

If you install LifeScore via TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may collect data according to their own privacy policies. This is outside of LifeScore's control. See Apple's privacy policy.

UserDefaults

LifeScore uses Apple's UserDefaults API to store your app preferences (such as whether you have completed onboarding and your notification settings). This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

Future Updates

If LifeScore adds features that change how your data is handled (such as iCloud sync or cloud backup), this privacy policy will be updated before those features are released. You will be notified of material changes through the app or this page.
