Yes. BeastStreak is completely free. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no ads.

Do I need to create an account?

No. BeastStreak works entirely on your device. No account, no login, no email required.

What iPhone do I need?

BeastStreak requires iOS 17 or later. That includes iPhone XS and newer.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing bad happens. Missed habits score zero points — never negative. Tomorrow is a clean reset. And if you fall asleep before logging, a morning banner lets you catch up on yesterday's habits before noon.

Does BeastStreak have a widget?

Yes. Add a small widget (score + streak) or medium widget (score + active block progress) to your iPhone home screen. Both update in real time as you complete habits.

Does it sync across devices?

Yes. You can enable optional iCloud sync in Settings to keep your data in sync across iPhone and iPad. It uses Apple's own CloudKit — your data never touches third-party servers.

Can I track tasks, not just habits?

Yes. Add one-time tasks and multi-step projects alongside your daily habits. Tasks earn points and carry forward automatically if you don't finish them. Projects track progress at 25/50/75/100%.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export all your habit, score, urge, and streak data as CSV or JSON from Settings. Your data is yours.

How do streaks work?

BeastStreak has two streak types. Your activity streak counts consecutive days where you completed at least one habit — just one tap keeps it alive. Your bright-line streak tracks days you held your urge control line. Both earn bonus points.

Is my data private?

Yes. All your data stays on your device by default. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's infrastructure — no third-party servers, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs. Read our full privacy policy.

What is urge control?

A built-in system for managing impulses — nicotine, social media, snacking, or any urge you want to track. Log an urge in 10 seconds, pick a coping strategy (or add your own), and earn points for every urge you surf. Each category gets its own resist rate and weekly trends.

Is BeastStreak good for ADHD?

It was built specifically for ADHD brains. Single-block focus so you only see 3-4 habits at a time (not 30). Pre-loaded defaults so there's no setup paralysis. Points for the basics so you get instant dopamine. And zero punishment — missed habits are worth 0 points, never negative.

How is BeastStreak different from Habitica or Streaks?

Habitica is a full RPG — great concept, but the game itself becomes a thing to manage. Streaks is clean but punishes missed days with broken streaks. BeastStreak focuses on one thing: making it dead simple to do the basics without guilt. Time blocks, tasks, urge control with custom categories, home screen widgets, and no punishment.
